Four LA City Employees Honored During Arab American Heritage Month
What does it mean to serve your city while honoring your roots? Los Angeles celebrates Arab American Heritage Month along with LA Civil Rights and the Board of Public Works, recognized four City employees whose work helps keep the city running every day. From engineering and street lighting to sanitation and contract administration, these honorees represent the dedication and talent working behind the scenes to serve all Angelenos.

The celebration also highlights what makes Los Angeles strong: diversity, community, and people from many backgrounds working together to help the city thrive. For the honorees, the recognition is both meaningful and personal, especially as many carry concern for loved ones in the Middle East while continuing to build lives and serve their communities here.

This event honors resilience, dignity, and the many contributions Arab Americans make to Los Angeles every day.
