Los Ángeles Azules Make History in Panorama City
Panorama City celebrated a major cultural milestone as internationally acclaimed cumbia group Los Ángeles Azules was honored with a permanent place in the community. The intersection of Van Nuys Boulevard and Chase Street was officially dedicated as Los Ángeles Azules Square, recognizing the group’s decades-long musical career and cultural impact.

For local residents, the dedication celebrates more than music. The new square highlights the cultural contributions of Los Angeles’ Latino communities and recognizes a gathering place in the heart of Panorama City.

The celebration brought music, dancing, and community together in the San Fernando Valley, creating a new public landmark where neighbors can gather, celebrate culture, and create memories.
