Things To Do (in L.A. for the weekend of April 11th)
To celebrate Earth Day, there'll be a Kids Beach Cleanup at Dockweiler Beach. This “Heal the Bay” family-friendly event will feature plenty of fun and hands-on activities to help protect the coastline and improve ocean conservation. Register in advance for the Kids Beach Cleanup in celebration of Earth Day on Sunday, April 12th, at 9am.

Celebrate and support World Autism Awareness Day with LA City's Department of Rec and Parks Citywide Aquatics. There there will be adaptive swim lessons, kayaking, and paddle boarding, along with a CPR station, music, and more. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Visit Lincoln Park Pool for the World Autism Awareness Day on Saturday, April 11th at 1pm.

Learn how to live green at the 13th annual Earth Day Festival in Tarzana Park. Visitors can enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere with entertainment, live music, art projects, native California plants, a Critter Squad station, jumpers, and more. Join Rec and Parks and Councilmember Bob Blumenfield for "Earth Day Festival" on Saturday, April 11th beginning at 10am.
